Acceptance, recovery and operational handover
Fraîche Flow · IT Systems Integration
Project objective
Hand over the implemented lab infrastructure transparently using requirements, tests, risks and recovery dependencies.
My implementation
- Assessed requirements, evidence, acceptance criteria and blockers in the project context.
- Documented the roles of the participating systems and the end-to-end verification path.
- Recorded a file-based restore result and a recovery procedure.
- Produced a runbook and technical materials for handing over the lab work.
Technical context
| Completion | All tasks addressed according to the project lead |
|---|---|
| Evidenced chain | DNS → SSH/HTTP → application; backup → comparison → disconnection |
| Monitoring | 15 endpoints online in the final view |
| Operational context | Training/practical lab; no production acceptance claimed |
Result
The technical lab state is documented. Project completion is based on the completion confirmation and available output. This does not establish a production SLA, full restore or formal customer sign-off.
Verification and operational evidence
systemctl is-active apache2 mariadb docker cron
docker ps
findmnt /mnt/backup
sudo iscsiadm -m session

Practical troubleshooting
Incident handling showed why online status, historical availability and actual application tests must be assessed separately. A powered-off TrueNAS host was correctly detected as a failure.
Security and technical context
For production transfer: rotate secrets, restrict network exposure, test consistent database backups and a full restore, and demonstrate the notification chain. These are recommendations for further development, not retrospectively invented lab failures.
Transferable skills
Operational documentation, risk assessment, recovery planning and transparent handover.
Project status
Completed according to confirmation from the project lead.
